    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    Join our team as an Assembler where you will be responsible for the initial assembly of high-end office furniture. You will utilize various hand and power tools to build and assemble wood products, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform the first assembly of high-end office furniture.

    + Utilize hand and power tools, including table saws, band saws, and miter saws, to assemble wood products.

    + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.

    + Conduct inspections to maintain quality standards.

    + Engage in painting tasks using spray guns and industrial painting techniques.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in carpentry, cabinetry, or assembly.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.

    + Ability to operate hand and power tools, including miter saws, table saws, and band saws.

    + Familiarity with woodworking and wood cutting techniques.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 6+ months of experience in manufacturing, general labor, farming, or construction.

    + Experience in machine operation is preferred but not required.

    + Ability to read tape measures and blueprints.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a newly built Milling department that boasts excellent ventilation and lighting. Utilize new equipment and tools in an organized manufacturing process. Enjoy a casual dress code with the requirement of steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection. The work schedule is from 6 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stewartville, MN.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
