Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious General Laborer to assist skilled tradespeople with electrical and mechanical installations inside a manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to follow instructions closely. No extensive toolset is required—just a basic understanding of manufacturing environments and a readiness to support the team.

Responsibilities

+ Assist electricians and mechanical installers by running and pulling wire and conduit.

+ Hold and position materials, tools, or equipment.

+ Move and organize tools and materials.

+ Support pipe installation and routing.

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area.

+ Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

+ Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

+ Perform other general labor duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ Basic understanding of manufacturing environments.

+ Ability to use hand tools and power tools.

+ Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing, pushing, and pulling.

+ Experience in general labor, construction, production, packing, assembly, loading, and lifting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Willingness to learn and be trained in fabrication and machining.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing facility during the 1st shift from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. The workplace requires wearing ear protection, eye protection, and steel toe boots to ensure safety.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lewisburg, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
