Job Title: Laser Setup Operator

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Laser Setup Operator, where you will be responsible for operating lasers, shears, and brake press machinery to fabricate and form parts for customers across the United States. This role requires prior setup experience, proficiency in nesting, and the capability to use calipers and micrometers effectively. Experience in using a tape measure is also important. You will have the opportunity to operate five different machines with the support of another team member.

Responsibilities

+ Operate lasers, shears, and brake press machinery efficiently.

+ Set up and configure machinery for production runs.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.

+ Utilize calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for precise measurements.

+ Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of laser operation experience.

+ 3+ years of shear operation experience.

+ 3+ years of brake press operation experience.

+ Experience with blueprint reading and machine setup.

+ Proficiency in CNC operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with turret punch press is beneficial.

+ Familiarity with CNC Mazak brake press, Amada turret punch press, and CNC/Amada CO2 and fiber optic lasers.

Work Environment

Work on the 1st shift with a rotating schedule of four 10-hour days, Monday through Thursday, alternating weekly to Tuesday through Friday, allowing for extended weekends.

This is a Permanent position based out of West Bend, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
