Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a General Production Worker, where you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing shop. This position requires a keen mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and the ability to read micrometers. You will be responsible for supporting the grinding trade and ensuring the smooth operation of production processes.

Responsibilities

+ Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and effective math skills.

+ Read and interpret micrometers accurately.

+ Show dependability and a willingness to learn the grinding trade.

+ Apply common sense understanding to follow instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.

+ Perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, moving, and standing.

+ Maintain experience working in a machine shop environment.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical aptitude

+ Ability to read micrometers

+ Experience in a machine shop environment

+ Willingness to work overtime and different shifts

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Comfortable using hand tools

+ Graduation from NTMA (National Tooling and Machining Association) is preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MONTEBELLO, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
