Job Overview
As a Market Developer, you’ll be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, entering new markets, and building strong relationships with potential clients and partners. You will work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive growth and brand visibility.
The Market Developer will identify and analyze customer strategic priorities, including key decision-makers, goals, and objectives. Using these insights, you will create tailored proposals to boost Martin Bros. Distributing's sales opportunities. This collaboration aims to nurture customer relationships, address evolving needs, and maintain market share.
Key Responsibilities
As our new Market Developer, you'll play a key role in growing our business and building lasting relationships with customers. Here's what you'll do:
Hunt for new opportunities
• Discover and connect with senior living facilities
• Keep your finger on the pulse of the market and share your thoughts
• Help create winning proposals that set us apart from the competition
• Lead engaging meetings and presentations with potential customers
Be the Go-To Person
• Become the friendly face of Martin Bros. for our senior living partners
• Team up with our sales team to provide valuable customer insights
• Join in creative marketing projects and brainstorming sessions
• Work with various departments to bring new customers on board
• Stay on top of what our customers need and want
• Help ensure a smooth procession with credit arrangements
• Solving problems creatively and timely
Keep things on track
• Share news and updates about our sales progress twice a month
• Keep an eye on our lead efforts
• Work with our team to set realistic goals
