Job Title: Clamp Truck Operator

Job Description

Responsibilities

+ Operate clamp trucks to handle materials efficiently.

+ Participate in cross-training to enhance skills and operational knowledge.

+ Perform physical tasks including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and standing on your feet for extended periods.

+ Be flexible to work different shifts based on seniority and operational needs.

+ Work on Saturdays as required, with overtime scheduled in advance.

+ Maintain cleanliness by taking out trash and ensuring the workspace is tidy.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in forklift operation and material handling.

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks.

+ Willingness to learn and operate a clamp truck.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Strong communication skills with the ability to read and understand English.

+ Open to working varying shifts and overtime as necessary.

+ Experience in a manufacturing or packaging environment is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment is dynamic and requires physical stamina, with repetitive tasks and the need for bending and moving. During the summer, the facility can get very hot, but we provide amenities such as popsicles, Gatorade, and water, along with misting fans and improved ventilation to enhance comfort. You will work straight 8-hour shifts with breaks provided as needed, and food options available in the break room.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Renton, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.30 - $24.30/hr.
