Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator for an industrial renovation project at an oil and gas compressor station. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy machinery to support construction, earthwork, and demolition projects. This role involves tasks such as digging, trenching, loading trucks, moving materials, and ensuring safety around existing underground utilities.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize hammer attachments to break up concrete and load debris into trucks.
+ Perform dirt work, including loading trucks, digging trenches, grading, and backfilling.
+ Conduct demolition work and safely handle debris and structures.
+ Excavate around existing utilities with precision and care to avoid damage.
+ Load, move, and stockpile dirt, gravel, aggregate, and other construction materials.
+ Perform daily pre- and post-operation inspections of equipment and report maintenance needs.
+ Follow site plans, blueprints, and foreman instructions to complete work accurately and efficiently.
+ Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA standards, and project-specific safety requirements.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Heidelberg, MS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
