Quality Inspector – Medical Device Manufacturing

About the Role

We are seeking a **Quality Inspector** to join our dynamic medical device manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that both supplied and internally produced materials meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. You’ll play a critical part in safeguarding patient safety by maintaining product integrity and supporting the release of life-changing medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform detailed inspections of incoming materials, first articles, in-process components, labeling, and final product release

+ Utilize precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, vision systems) to verify strict specifications

+ Operate and interpret results from MicroVu Systems and other vision inspection equipment

+ Maintain accurate product traceability records and control non-conforming materials

+ Conduct occasional statistical analysis to support quality decision-making

+ Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

+ **Experience:** Minimum 2+ years in a regulated medical device or healthcare manufacturing environment

+ **Technical Skills:** Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and vision systems; experience with MicroVu Systems strongly preferred

+ **Soft Skills:** Detail-oriented, adaptable to shifting priorities, and effective communicator across teams

+ **Education:** Technical training or equivalent hands-on experience in quality inspection

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
