    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Technician to perform a variety of field tasks essential for the operation and maintenance of remediation systems. This role involves physical activities, monitoring, sampling, and troubleshooting across different environmental systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Operation, maintenance, and monitoring of remediation systems.

    + Performing brush clearance requiring moderate physical exertion.

    + Conducting groundwater and stormwater sampling.

    + Carrying out soil and vapor monitoring.

    + Engaging in pipe fitting with PVC, HDPE, and hot-dip galvanized metal pipes, as well as excavating trenches, minor concrete work, and electrical troubleshooting.

    + Troubleshooting pumps, blowers, and motors.

    + Weed abatement and cleaning of remote monitoring stations.

    + Providing contractor oversight.

    + Supporting injection projects such as bioaugmentation and chemical oxidation.

    + Conducting air monitoring.

    + Performing housekeeping tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, repair, service, construction, assembly, hand tools, and blueprint reading.

    + 1 to 5 years of experience in environmental services, skilled trades, construction, plumbing, automotive, electrical, or HVAC.

    + Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.

    + Willingness to travel and work various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and after hours.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment involves field service in varying conditions, requiring adaptability and flexibility. Work hours are typically Monday to Friday from 0700 to 1530 hours, but times can vary based on project needs. Some weekend and after-hours work may be required.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Kent, WA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.

    Schedule:

    • 8-hour shift; Monday to Friday 0700 to 1530-hrs. Times can and will vary which are project specific, our candidate should have some flexibility.

    Experience:

    • Environmental services. All Skilled Trades. Construction, plumbing, automotive, electrical, HVAC: 1 to 5 years (Required)
