Job Title: Quality Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our aerospace machine shop team. This role is critical to ensuring that all parts and components meet stringent aerospace quality standards.

Responsibilities

+ Perform inspections on machined aerospace components using precision measuring devices and testing tools.

+ Utilize microscopes and other specialized equipment to verify part compliance.

+ Accurately complete and maintain data sheets and inspection records.

+ Identify and report non-conformances, assist in root cause analysis, and support corrective actions.

+ Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and testing tools.

+ Experience working with microscopes for detailed inspections.

+ Strong understanding of reading and interpreting technical drawings and data sheets.

+ High attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in aerospace or precision machining environment preferred.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, AL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
