Job Title: Steel Erector Technician

Job Description

The primary role of the Steel Erector Technician is to install steel beams, girders, and columns to create frames for sheet metal roofing structures. This role involves groundwork, steel framing installation, and preparation for roofing.

Responsibilities

+ Install steel beams, girders, and columns to create structural frames.

+ Conduct groundwork, steel framing installation, and preparation for roofing.

+ Work with sheet metal and pre-engineered steel buildings.

+ Operate equipment such as boom lifts and scissor lifts.

+ Handle welding and sheet metal assembly tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in sheet metal installation and steel erection.

+ Proficiency in working with pre-engineered metal buildings.

+ Knowledge of operating boom lifts, scissor lifts, and construction fork lifts.

+ 2+ years of relevant experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ OSHA 10 certification is required.

+ Certifications for boom lift, scissor lift, and construction fork lift are a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
