Job Title: Service Plumber
Job Description
Join our team as a service plumber, where you will deliver exceptional plumbing services ranging from simple faucet repairs to complex water heater installations and plumbing system replacements.
Responsibilities
+ Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections of plumbing issues, accurately diagnose problems, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales.
+ Install and repair various plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
+ Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters.
+ Ensure thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites to meet pre-job conditions.
+ Prepare invoices, total costs of services/products provided, collect payment, and explain guarantees both in writing and on provided smartphone.
+ Move on to the next service call efficiently.
Essential Skills
+ Valid driver’s license.
+ Five or more years of repair and service plumbing experience.
+ Proven track record in the sale of plumbing products and services.
+ Full knowledge of plumbing systems.
+ Ability to obtain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment.
+ Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state.
+ Good written and oral communication skills for effective customer service.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with construction and plumbing services.
+ Proficiency in using PVC, cast iron, copper, and hand tools.
+ Five+ years of commercial/residential plumbing experience.
+ Preventative maintenance skills.
+ Customer-facing and interpersonal skills - approachable, talkative, outgoing, friendly.
+ Experience with water heater installation and repairs, including gas, electric, and tankless water heaters.
+ Ability to conduct drain cleaning, and proficient in working with toilets and sinks.
+ Backflow certification and OSHA 10 certification (client will assist in obtaining these).

Work Environment
Perform service plumbing work in commercial and residential buildings, spending your day on the road doing service calls. Choose between 1st or 2nd shift options, working 8-hour days with overtime paid at 1.5x your average weekly production. Begin your workday from the moment you leave home, with mileage compensation at 70 cents per mile.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
