    Job Title: Machinist

    Job Description

    Seeking one Quality Technician, focusing on analytical lab-based quality inspection and chemical testing.

    Responsibilities

    + Prepare both raw materials and final products for testing.

    + Conduct chemical analysis using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) and Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES) applications.

    + Review and enter data while keeping detailed records of all tests performed.

    + Perform lab housekeeping tasks including cleaning labware, standards preparation, and instrument maintenance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + An associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field such as science, chemistry, or metallurgy is preferred but not required.

    + Chemical lab experience and good communication skills.

    + Experience working with hazardous materials.

    + Self-motivated, willing to learn, organized, and clean.

    Work Environment

     

    The work is conducted in a quality lab located on the 2nd floor of a tech building, distinct from chemical areas. The environment is climate-controlled, ensuring comfort and focus during work hours. The initial schedule is Monday through Friday, with the potential to transition to a Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday shift upon completion of trainin

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
