    Pay: $20/hr to start

    Job Description

    We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team in the service department, with an opportunity to transition into our Outside Service department. In this role, you will learn our internal operations and provide roadside assistance to our valued customers.

    Responsibilities

    + Master the duties of Inside Service Personnel.

    + Mount, dismount, balance, replace, and repair truck tires at various locations using a service vehicle or in the service shop.

    + Use hydraulic jacks, air tools, and heavy handheld tools to perform tasks.

    + Identify repairable tires and execute repairs properly.

    + Maintain a clean and organized service department.

    + Communicate all work performed clearly on tags, work orders, and invoices.

    + Adhere to safety protocols and use all provided safety equipment.

    + Perform daily maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment; clean service vehicles weekly.

    + Quote product and service prices as needed.

    + Complete service work orders with detailed information and ensure proper paperwork accompanies all products.

    + Maintain an organized vehicle stocked with necessary tools and supplies.

    + Ensure customer safety by keeping them away from the servicing area.

    + Perform miscellaneous job duties as needed to ensure prompt customer service.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year or more of related work experience is helpful, but training is provided.

    + Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedural documents.

    + Effective communication skills with customers and employees.

    + Basic mathematical skills.

    + Ability to understand and follow written, oral, or diagram instructions.

    + Computer literacy; training will be provided as needed.

    + Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

    + Experience operating lift gates, service trucks, and various service tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Comfortable with lifting 60-75 lbs on a repetitive basis.

    + Proficient in lifting techniques.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment can be very hot, and employees must wear steel-toed boots or sneakers. The role involves using various technologies and equipment, including air compressors, hydraulic jacks, and computer systems

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
