Hiring Assembler 2 ASAP! (19-20/hr)

Job Description

As an Assembler, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team. You will be responsible for assembling panels into frames using both hand and power tools, performing tasks such as putting nuts on bolts, cutting insulation with a utility knife, and installing it into the frames. This role requires basic math skills and cross-training with the paint department. Your ability to work collaboratively in a group of 4-5 people, under the guidance of a trained team member, is crucial. You should be comfortable with climbing ladders or platform stairs for certain assembly tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Team lift panels (50+ lbs) and slide them into frames.

+ Use hand and power tools to assemble sides and panels of frames.

+ Perform hand assembly such as putting nuts on bolts.

+ Cut insulation using a utility knife and install it into frames.

+ Cross-train with the paint department.

+ Perform other duties as needed.

Essential Skills

+ 6 months to 1 year of manufacturing or assembly experience.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

+ Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.

+ Capability to perform quality inspection.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Exposure to manufacturing, ideally in metal environments.

+ Experience with calipers and air tools.

+ Ability to lift over 50 lbs.

Work Environment

You will work on the first shift from Monday to Thursday, 5 am to 3 pm. There are opportunities for overtime on Fridays, with optional shifts on Saturdays. Our facility supports a collaborative team atmosphere where safety and skill development are prioritized.

This is a Contract position based out of Seguin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
