    Material Handler – 2nd Shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)

    **Location:** Lawrence, KS

    **Schedule:** Full-time | 2nd Shift

    About the Role

     

    Are you ready to keep production moving and make an impact every day? We’re looking for a dedicated Material Handler to join our team on the 2nd shift. In this role, you’ll manage inventory, handle materials, and ensure smooth operations across multiple departments.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform daily forklift inspections and maintenance

    + Update location sheets during system downtimes

    + Locate and store materials in inventory according to guidelines

    + Conduct cycle counts and pull materials for work orders

    + Return completed materials to inventory

    + Issue materials based on departmental requests

    + Load, unload, and relocate materials for Inventory, Production, Shipping, and Quality Control

    + Work overtime as assigned

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 6 months of forklift experience

    + Valid lift truck license or ability to obtain certification

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Ability to lift 35 lbs. continuously

    + Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude

    + Basic knowledge of inventory systems

    + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for entire shift

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Experience in inspection and quality assurance

    + Leadership and initiative

    + Attention to detail and testing skills

    + Previous material handling experience

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lawrence, KS.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.09 - $21.60/hr.
