    Job Title: Plumber Apprentice

    Job Description

    We are seeking motivated individuals to join a large-scale healthcare construction project in Charleston, SC. As a Plumber Apprentice, you will work directly under experienced Plumber Mechanics with a minimum of 5 years of commercial plumbing expertise. This role is designed for individuals eager to build their skills in commercial plumbing while contributing to a critical healthcare facility project.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist senior plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems in a healthcare setting.

    + Support brazing work on large copper piping (up to 4 inches) under supervision.

    + Learn proper handling of piping systems requiring certifications for 2 inches or more.

    + Aid in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.

    + Maintain tools, materials, and work areas to ensure efficiency and safety.

    + Observe and apply plumbing codes, safety standards, and project requirements.

    + Collaborate with other trades, project managers, and senior plumbers to meet project goals.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic plumbing knowledge or prior hands-on experience, preferably in commercial settings.

    + Willingness to learn brazing techniques and large-diameter copper pipe work.

    + Familiarity with plumbing tools and materials, particularly copper and brazing.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Healthcare project experience preferred.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
