Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to organize and facilitate maintenance of production and facility equipment. You will work with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations and address any troubleshooting needs.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Troubleshoot programmable controllers, electronics, and perform circuit analysis.

+ Utilize electrical test equipment for repair and troubleshooting tasks.

+ Repair and rebuild electrical and mechanical components.

+ Install, modify, and fabricate equipment and systems to meet production needs.

+ Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.

+ Work on a variety of equipment including conveyors, hydraulics, starters, motors, and pumps.

+ Handle tasks across the facility, from maintaining toilets to servicing forklifts and other machinery.

Essential Skills

+ 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Proficiency in working with conveyors, hydraulics, motors, pumps, and starters.

+ Ability to draw a Start-Stop Schematic.

+ Experience in PLC troubleshooting.

+ Competency in connecting and electrically troubleshooting motors.

+ 70% mechanical and 30% electrical proficiency.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Heavy PLC experience is advantageous.

+ Strong troubleshooting skills with VFD & PLCs.

+ Experience in diagnosing and repairing PLCs.

+ Own tools are preferred but not required.

Work Environment

This position is located in a non-climate-controlled, high-speed oil production facility where temperatures can vary significantly. The maintenance team comprises 10 members, working closely with a larger team of 50 people. The role requires flexibility with night shifts from 5pm-5am and a dress code of steel toes, jeans, and work shirt, with PPE provided by the company. The environment can be hot in summer due to machinery and weather, and cold in other areas.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deer Park, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.66 - $37.66/hr.
