Job Description

The role involves packing lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products into boxes. You will need to count and ensure the correct amount is packed, weigh boxes for accuracy, and perform quality checks to ensure labels are applied correctly without bubbles, and verify expiration dates and misprints.

Responsibilities

+ Pack lip balm and other personal care and pharmaceutical products into boxes.

+ Count the correct amount of products to be packed.

+ Weigh boxes to ensure accurate counts.

+ Conduct quality checks to ensure labels are correctly applied and check for bubbles, expiration dates, and misprints.

+ Maintain a fast-paced work speed to keep up with the production line.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in packing, production, and packaging.

+ Ability to pick, unload, palletize, stack, and label products.

+ Strong general labor skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience as a packer is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment is very fast-paced, requiring you to stand for the entire shift. Employees are provided with a locker on their first day for personal belongings, and can carry a clear bag with a calculator, knife, swipe card, and pen. The manufacturing location is also the corporate headquarters. The third shift is smaller and quieter, requiring team members to work independently with only a supervisor present.

This is a Contract position based out of Oak Brook, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.19 - $19.34/hr.
