1st Shift Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician will serve the production areas with skilled mechanical support for all areas of production, including the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, piping, and minor electrical and electronic systems. Technicians are focused on enabling and equipping the plant to operate efficiently, minimizing downtime, and protecting and prolonging the economic life of plant equipment and capital assets at an optimal and practical cost.

Responsibilities

+ Provide skilled mechanical support to production areas.

+ Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, piping, and minor electrical and electronic systems.

+ Focus on enabling and equipping the plant to operate efficiently while minimizing downtime.

+ Protect and prolong the economic life of plant equipment and capital assets at an optimal and practical cost.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in electronics, electrical, and mechanical systems.

+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repairs.

+ Skill in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.

+ Knowledge of hydraulics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 4+ years of maintenance experience.

+ Experience in corrugated manufacturing is highly preferred.

+ Familiarity with gluer machines and printing press operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mansfield, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
