Refrigeration Technician – Off Shift

**Pay:** $29–$35 per hour

**Schedule:** 2-2-3 rotation, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Every other weekend is a 3-day weekend; 15 days off per month)

**Location:** Food Manufacturing Facility

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated **Industrial Services Technician** to join our team and maintain the refrigeration department in a high-volume food manufacturing environment. You’ll ensure refrigeration systems are fully operational across the plant and the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

+ Maintain and troubleshoot refrigeration systems, steam generation, compressed air, hot water, treated water, glycol, and related utilities.

+ Respond promptly to emergency calls regarding refrigeration on the production floor.

+ Ensure continuous production operation for refrigeration, utilities, and HVAC equipment.

+ Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic tools.

+ Perform pipefitting, plumbing repairs, and rebuild pumps, valves, regulators, traps, and fans.

+ Document work accurately and maintain neat records.

Qualifications

+ Ability to read, write, and perform basic math and computer tasks.

+ Strong attention to detail and legible handwriting.

+ Ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance.

+ Physical ability to climb stairs and stand for extended periods.

+ **Preferred Certifications:** CERO, CARO, LLAR, steam, boiler, chiller experience, EPA License.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59280.00 - $59280.00/yr.

- College tuition reimbursement

- Will train you in the electrical side- plenty of room for advancement

- Never going to lay off- one of the only companies in Mount Sterling that didn’t go through a covid shutdown (you always need food)

- Every other weekend off $2 shift premium once brought perm (0-6 months)

- Holidays off if your schedule falls on that day

- Set schedule- easy to plan time off

- A & B schedule

- Yellow holidays that they get off
