Job Title: EVS Housekeeper
Job Description
The EVS Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role ensures compliance with infection control standards and supports patient comfort and safety.
Responsibilities
+ Perform routine cleaning and disinfecting of patient rooms, operating rooms, offices, and common areas.
+ Sanitize high-touch surfaces and ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols.
+ Collect and dispose of regular and hazardous waste according to safety guidelines.
+ Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors and carpets.
+ Restock cleaning supplies and report shortages or equipment issues promptly.
+ Respond to cleaning requests from staff promptly.
+ Follow all hospital safety and confidentiality policies, including HIPAA compliance.
Essential Skills
+ Expertise in cleaning and sanitization.
+ Knowledge of infection prevention and safety compliance.
+ Floor care and facilities maintenance skills.
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Effective communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
+ Previous housekeeping or EVS experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
+ Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
+ Strong time management skills.

Work Environment
The role is based in a hospital setting, requiring availability to work from 11 pm-7 am on Saturday and Monday. The rest of the week, shifts could be from 7 am-3:30 pm or 3:30 pm-11 pm, covering for those off-duty. This is a full-time position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southlake, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
