Job Title:** **Senior** **Mechanical and Robotics Technician
Job Description
As a Senior Mechanical and Robotics Technician, you will lead a team of service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. Your role will include supporting the Operations Maintenance team by designing solutions for complex problems and managing projects. You will also be responsible for training and mentoring service and contract technicians. Pay ranges from $23-28 depending on experience. ** Must be open to working all shifts**
Responsibilities
+ Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems within the facility.
+ Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
+ Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components such as photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
+ Create and close out work orders with detailed data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
+ Foster a positive working relationship across all operational facilities.
+ Develop training plans for service technicians.
+ Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets.
+ Physically capable of moving up to 49 pounds, standing, and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
+ Travel up to 20% when required.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
+ 1 year of experience in PC competency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college focusing on Mechanical or Electrical fields.
+ 5 years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
+ 5 years of experience with electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and industrial electronics.
+ 5 years of experience in preventative maintenance.
+ 5 years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
+ 5 years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
+ 3 years of work order management experience.

Work Environment
Work shifts are Wednesday to Saturday, from 9:30 PM to 8 AM. The role involves physical activities such as repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking. You may lift parts and tools weighing up to 49 pounds. The work environment may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, and noise, with conditions involving standing on concrete for long hours and working on wet or uneven surfaces.

This is a Contract position based out of Cocoa, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $33.00/hr.
