_Construction Materials Technician- Weekly Pay- Start ASAP_
_Location: Lead, SD_
_Pay: $32/hour_
_Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 am- 5 pm_
_The Construction Materials Technician will work underground in the historic Homestake Mine in Lead. The primary responsibilities include performing inspections, testing, and quality assurance on concrete materials. The role also involves reading and understanding construction specifications to ensure that concrete materials meet required standards._
_Responsibilities:_
+ _Perform concrete material testing and asphalt testing as needed._
+ _Read and comprehend construction specifications to ensure compliance._
+ _Conduct quality control and quality assurance inspections._
+ _Engage in soil sampling and testing activities._
_Essential Skills:_
+ _Concrete testing and inspection experience._
+ _Materials testing expertise._
+ _Knowledge of construction materials testing._
+ _Ability to perform soil testing._
+ _ACI Certification in Concrete Field Testing._
+ _Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs as necessary._
_Additional Skills & Qualifications:_
+ _1-2 years of experience in construction materials testing or equivalent in the construction and/or environmental industry._
+ _Valid driver's license with a clean driving record._
+ _10 Hour OSHA Certification._

_Work Environment:_
_The role is based underground in the historic Homestake Mine, requiring comfort with working in confined spaces. The position involves physical activities, including lifting and working outdoors in varied weather conditions._

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lead, SD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr.
