Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our team on a long-term contract basis in San Jose, California. In this role, you will focus on preparing individual tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. If you have strong expertise in tax preparation and a keen eye for detail, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to streamline tax preparation processes.

• Analyze financial data to identify potential tax-saving opportunities.

• Provide clients with clear and thorough tax advice and guidance.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and changes in regulations.

• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

• Address and resolve client inquiries related to tax matters.

• Organize and maintain detailed records for all tax-related documents. Requirements • Proven experience in tax preparation, specifically for individual tax returns.

• Proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software.

• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws.

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

• Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to identify errors or discrepancies.

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
