Description

We are looking for a skilled Accountant to join our team in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

• Prepare and reconcile bank statements to maintain financial accuracy.

• Record and review journal entries to ensure proper documentation and compliance.

• Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures to meet deadlines.

• Conduct detailed financial analysis and reporting for better decision-making.

• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and workflows.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all accounting activities.

• Address discrepancies and resolve issues in financial records promptly.

• Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger management.

• Strong knowledge of journal entries and bank reconciliation processes.

• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure.

• Strong analytical skills for financial reporting and data review.

• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
