    Description

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a contract basis near Teaneck, New Jersey. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately managing and updating customer and account information, ensuring seamless data processing. This position requires proficiency in Excel, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative attitude.

    Responsibilities:

    • Input and update customer and account data into the database with precision and efficiency.

    • Organize and prepare data for entry by compiling and sorting information into spreadsheets.

    • Determine priority levels for data entry tasks to ensure timely processing.

    • Review documents thoroughly to verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies using established procedures.

    • Utilize Excel to reformat and manipulate files as needed.

    • Convert files using Adobe Writer or other editing tools to support data management.

    • Collaborate with team members and maintain a customer service-focused approach to tasks.

    • Conduct research and gather relevant data to support operational needs.

    • Take initiative to assist the team and contribute to workflow improvements.

    • Apply knowledge of consignment processes when necessary to support specific tasks.

     

    Requirements • Demonstrated experience in data entry with high attention to detail and accuracy.

     

    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formatting and file manipulation.

    • Familiarity with Adobe Writer or similar tools for file conversion and editing.

    • Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.

    • Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues and customers.

    • Ability to research and collect data efficiently.

    • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist others and support group objectives.
