Job Description:

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with NetSuite experience is responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, payment collections, cash applications, and account reconciliations using NetSuite. This role requires accuracy in handling financial transactions, proactive communication with clients regarding outstanding balances, and effective use of NetSuite to automate and optimize AR processes. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal teams and contribute to continuous process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Generate and distribute customer invoices through NetSuite.

+ Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and reconcile discrepancies.

+ Monitor the AR aging report and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections.

+ Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing inquiries or disputes.

+ Process credit memos, adjustments, and write-offs as needed.

+ Assist with month-end closing activities for AR.

+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date AR documentation and customer records.

+ Recommend and implement process improvements using NetSuite functionality.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ 2+ years of accounts receivable experience; direct experience with NetSuite required.

+ Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to work independently and within a team.
