    Robert Half is partnering with a boutique Accounting firm in the East metro, in search of a Tax Accountant. This is an onsite position.

    Our client is a boutique, relationship-driven public accounting firm in the East Metro known for its supportive team, family-office feel, and long-standing client relationships. The practice focuses primarily on individual tax preparation, with a growing book of small business and partnership returns. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit team where you’ll have direct client exposure, mentorship, and long-term growth.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Prepare and review individual tax returns (1040) for a diverse client base.

    + Assist with business, partnership, and S-Corp returns as needed.

    + Conduct tax research and help identify planning opportunities for clients.

    + Communicate with clients to gather information, clarify tax issues, and address questions.

    + Support senior accountants and partners during busy season (approx. 50 hours/week)—significantly lighter outside of peak periods.

    + Contribute to process improvements and help maintain a high-quality client experience.

    Requirements

    What We’re Looking For

     

    + Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field; open to recent grads with a strong interest in tax.

    + OR prior experience preparing individual tax returns in a public accounting or similar environment.

    + Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

    + Excellent communication skills and comfort working directly with clients.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, boutique firm environment.
