Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play an integral role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting key accounting functions, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Record and reconcile journal entries, maintaining the integrity of general ledger accounts.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure smooth operations.

• Assist with payroll activities, verifying records and ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to support financial stability.

• Support audit preparations by gathering required documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies while maintaining compliance.

• Analyze financial data to provide insights and assist in budgeting and forecasting efforts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve accounting discrepancies.

• Stay updated on tax regulations and prepare corporate tax returns, including sales tax filings. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, demonstrating expertise in financial reporting.

• Proficiency in managing corporate tax returns and sales tax filings.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger and journal entry processes.

• Experience with accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Solid understanding of payroll systems and related compliance requirements.

• Ability to conduct bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow effectively.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
