    Job Title: Accounting Consultant

    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounting Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing revenue and sales allowances, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

    Responsibilities

    + Track and validate discounts, rebates, and liabilities for large customers.

    + Ensure contractual agreements are accurately reflected in financial statements.

    + Extract and reconcile data from multiple sources, such as NetSuite and other systems.

    + Investigate discrepancies between shipments, billing, and cost of goods sold.

    + Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close activities.

    + Manage prepaids, amortizations, and fixed asset schedules.

    + Develop and maintain complex Excel workbooks for financial analysis.

    + Utilize advanced Excel functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and data validation.

    + Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

    + CPA preferred.

    + 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

    + Advanced Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.

    + Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred.

    + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

    + Experience with general ledger, reconciliation, and revenue reconciliation.

    + Familiarity with sales allowances and working with large customers.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
