    Job Title: Attorney - Business ImmigrationJob Description

     

    This role offers the opportunity to gain broader business immigration experience by supporting high-volume U.S. business immigration operations. The position is integral to the team, which is at the cutting edge of immigration operations. The successful candidate will manage large-scale operations and structure them effectively.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct research to support legal proceedings, formulate defenses, or initiate legal actions.

    + Review non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.

    + Contribute to high-volume U.S. business immigration operations, including petition reviews and I-9 compliance.

    + Train admins on USCIS filings, document processing, and PERM job postings.

    + Assist with root cause analysis and resolution of legal and operational issues.

    + Identify and propose legal process improvement ideas to enhance quality and efficiency.

    + Address legal questions related to I-9 completion and E-Verify.

    + Support complex E-Verify issue resolution.

    + Respond to emails from visa-dependent employees regarding visa and green card eligibility.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 1 year of experience in immigration law, including business or family-based cases.

    + Juris Doctor degree from a credible university and admission to the bar.

    + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

    + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Familiarity with legal research and document preparation.

    + Experience with Microsoft Office and research projects.

    + Strong analytical and paralegal skills.

    Work Environment

    This position requires working onsite five days per week in a large, fast-paced professional office environment located on the Redmond campus. The work schedule includes standard core hours from Monday to Friday, with an estimated 5 hours of overtime. Suppliers will provide the necessary equipment, including a laptop, mouse, headset, and two computer monitors.

    This is a Contract position based out of Redmond, WA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $47.00 - $51.00/hr.
