Job Title: Senior Staff AccountantJob Description

The Senior Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity of accounting information. This position involves researching account issues for compliance and developing quality control functions over financial transactions.

Responsibilities

+ Manage month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries, reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, and various reporting functions.

+ Conduct revenue recognition review and make necessary adjustments for close.

+ Research and investigate accounts, maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, and conduct variance analysis.

+ Prepare financial statements.

+ Participate in the development and review of annual operating budgets.

+ Assist in quarterly, interim, and year-end financial processes.

Essential Skills

+ At least 3-5 years of accounting experience with SAP in the manufacturing industry.

+ Strong technical accounting knowledge.

+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and V-lookups.

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ CPA or CMA certification preferred.

+ Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is strongly preferred.

+ Experience in cost accounting is preferred.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Highly detail-oriented and organized.

+ Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.

+ Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.

The work environment is within a high-volume manufacturing industry with a focus on SAP ERP systems. The company is expecting significant growth, with plans to increase sales by over $15M in the upcoming year. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $92000.00/yr.
