About the Role

As a Buyer with Hobart Parts & Service, you play a critical role in ensuring the right products are available at the right time and cost to support our business and customers. This role is not just about transactions — it’s about building strong supplier partnerships, applying analytical thinking to procurement decisions, and contributing to continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Qualifications & Experience

+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

+ Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain is beneficial but not required.

+ Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus).

+ Transferable skills such as negotiation, data analysis, vendor management, and project coordination are valued.

+ Professional certifications (e.g., CSCM) are a plus, but not required.
