Creative Operations Manager (Remote/Hybrid - Boston)

Description
We are opening a new role for a Creative Operations Manager to serve as the critical operational arm of our creative team. This role ensures smooth workflow across concepting, production, and delivery — supporting the full creative function and enabling the team to consistently deliver exceptional, high-impact work.
You will be the connective thread between creative strategy and execution: managing intake, prioritization, and resourcing; building and maintaining the systems that keep work moving; and elevating operational excellence across the entire studio. You’ll own and evolve our Asana project management environment and steward our Bynder DAM, ensuring they become the central hubs for workflow, visibility, and accountability.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of structure and creativity — a hybrid operator who can see both the big picture and the small details that make it work.
Key Responsibilities:
Studio Operations & Project Intake
+ Own creative brief intake, scoping, and workflow in Asana, ensuring every project is captured, structured, and progressing from concept through delivery.
+ Manage and optimize Asana forms, templates, dependencies, and automations to create clarity and streamline approvals.
+ Partner with stakeholders across the organization to clarify objectives, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment from the start.
+ Manage the creative pipeline, resourcing, and team calendar across disciplines, leveraging dashboards to drive visibility and proactive planning.
+ Ensure creative asks are actionable, strategically grounded, and supported with the necessary information.
+ Production Management
+ Oversee production workflows to ensure accuracy, consistency, and technical excellence across deliverables.
+ Support team members in navigating handoffs, timelines, and production requirements across print, digital, and experiential channels.
+ Coordinate vendor communication and production handoff as needed, ensuring seamless transitions from creative to execution.
System Stewardship: Asana + Bynder
+ Serve as the Asana system owner for the creative team — maintaining templates, naming conventions, task structures, and reporting frameworks.
+ Train and support team members to ensure adoption of best practices and continuous process improvement.
+ Maintain Bynder taxonomy, tagging standards, and asset governance to ensure clean, organized, searchable asset libraries.
+ Ensure accurate metadata, proper routing of final assets, and consistency in asset delivery.
+ Connect Asana and Bynder workflows for seamless project-to-asset transitions.
Workflow & Process Excellence
+ Champion creative operations discipline, identifying opportunities to elevate efficiency, collaboration, and visibility.
+ Identify and refine processes within briefing, handoffs, and approvals to remove friction across the creative lifecycle.
+ Track team productivity and workload distribution, surfacing resourcing needs and operational gaps.
+ Maintain a solutions-oriented approach, proactively identifying bottlenecks before they become blockers.
Requirements
+ 4+ years in creative operations, studio management, or creative project management.
+ Experience supporting hybrid creative teams across copy, design, and production.
+ A strong operational mindset with a deep understanding of the full creative development process.
+ Proficiency with Asana (or similar PM tools) and Bynder (or similar DAM platforms).
+ Working knowledge of print and digital production best practices.
+ Exceptional communication, organization, prioritization, and relationship-building skills.
+ Ability to navigate both high-level planning and day-to-day execution with precision and calm.
Nice-to-Have
+ Experience within consumer brands, retail environments, or omni-channel creative organizations.
+ Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud workflows and file types.
+ Experience scaling creative processes in growing or rapidly evolving teams.
You Are
+ A hybrid operator who thrives in fast-paced environments and finds clarity in complexity.
+ A structured thinker who anticipates needs, connects dots, and brings order to ambiguity.
+ A collaborative partner who champions creative work while reducing friction and enabling flow.
+ A process-minded problem-solver who values efficiency without sacrificing creativity.
+ Passionate about enabling great creative work through organized systems, thoughtful planning, and operational rigor.
Annual Base Compensation range: $80,000 - $100,000 (commensurate with experience)
