The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required

+ Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract.

+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age

+ SLP leave coverage at Long Beach Elementary Bilingual Early Childhood students leave from now-2/6/26 (Bilingual not required)

+ SLP at East View Academy and 1 day services private placement students

Start/End Date:

ASAP - leave coverages highlighted above and will be discussed in more detail during interview.

Start/End time:

Depends on the school - variation of around 7/8 - 3/4 pm

Breaks paid/unpaid:

unpaid 30 min break

Specific school building:

Long Beach Elementary School + other leave is EastView Academy

In person or virtual interview:

In-person is preferred
