*Now Hiring Multiple Roles: School Nurse (LPN) for Minneapolis - High Schools*

Pay: $35/hour + Benefits

Schedule: 35–37.5 hours/week

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Through end of the school year, with option to return next year

Position Overview

The School Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for applying the nursing process and delivering student care in a high school setting. This role may also include supervisory responsibilities within contracted services. The School Nurse provides care in accordance with Amergis Healthcare Staffing’s philosophy, standards, policies, and physician orders.

Key Responsibilities

+ Provide direct nursing care to students in a school environment

+ Implement physician orders and maintain accurate documentation

+ Monitor and manage student health needs, including emergency care

+ Collaborate with school staff and parents to support student well-being

+ Ensure compliance with all professional standards and school policies

Qualifications

+ Previous school nursing experience preferred

+ Previous G-tube or homecare experience preferred

+ Current MN LPN License

Minimum Requirements

+ Graduate of an accredited practical, vocational, or registered nursing program

+ Licensed as an LPN, LVN, or RN in the state of practice

+ One year of professional experience preferred

+ Current CPR certification

+ PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
