The Psychologist plans, conducts and coordinates all aspects of diagnostic assessment, evaluations and therapeutic interventions. The psychologist must demonstrate professional knowledge of, and skill in applying a wide range of theories, principles, and methodologies of the practice of Psychology; to a wide range of populations. The Psychologist is an independent practitioner.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an accredited college or University with a curriculum in Psychology approved by the American Psychological
+ Association (APA) Current valid unrestricted license to practice in the specialty of Psychology
+ Certified documentation of education, training and license per state/contract requirement
+ Minimum of (1) one year relevant work experience preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Position Details (Age group, Caseload, Duties):
The assignment will likely be a combination of 2-3 days/week working with the evaluation teams in our regional evaluation center and 2-3 days/week assigned in one or two of our local school districts.
The evaluation teams provide evaluations for students K-21, across all eligibility areas, with a heavy focus on ASD and CLD (culturally and linguistically diverse) evaluations.
The district assignment will vary based on the size of district the school psych is assigned.
School Psychs do not have individual caseloads: average 60-75 evals per year, depending on assignment.
