Position: BCBA Liaison - Lead Registered Behavior Technician
Age Range: Elementary School
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 2025–2026 School Year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Pay Rate: up to $30/hour - based on experience
About the Role
Attleboro Public Schools is seeking a Lead Behavior Technician (RBT preferred) for a new position at an Elementary School in Attleboro. This role is designed to provide flexible behavioral support across classrooms and serve as a liaison to the BCBA.
Responsibilities
+ Float between classrooms to provide coverage and behavioral support as needed.
+ Assist the BCBA with VB-MAPP testing and observations during available time.
+ Support students in the Insights Program, which serves students with:
+ Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
+ Developmental disabilities
+ Other behavioral/developmental diagnoses
+ Address challenging behaviors, including aggression, eloping, flopping, and self-injurious behaviors.
+ Implement de-escalation strategies and behavior intervention plans.
+ Collect and record data accurately (knowledge of data types and programs required).
+ Assist with changing and toileting when necessary.
Qualifications
+ Strong background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is required.
+ Experience working with students with ASD and behavioral challenges.
+ Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations.
+ Familiarity with VB-MAPP and data collection systems.
+ RBT certification preferred but not required.

Minimum Requirements:
+ High School diploma or equivalent required
+ Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
