### Job Duties
Schedule: 42 hours/week, 6 days/week, Mon-Sat (7 hours/day, 6:00 A.M. – 1:30 P.M.)

Feed and water livestock daily; monitor and maintain feed/water supplies
Mix feed and medications; administer basic treatments and vaccinations
Herd/move livestock to pastures, scales, trucks, enclosures, or between grazing areas
Clean and maintain stalls, pens, equipment, buildings, fences, and yards
Maintain heated watering systems and prevent freezing (remove ice, keep tanks operational)
Ensure clean, dry bedding and straw
Patrol and protect herds from predators
Perform general equipment and machinery maintenance/repairs
Move equipment or livestock to different locations on the farm
Order animal feed/supplies and arrange delivery
Occasionally drive to town for supplies
### Minimum Education Required
No High School Diploma or GED required
### Minimum Experience Required
Experience: Minimum 2 months of verifiable, relevant farm/livestock experience required
Driver’s License: Must obtain a valid driver’s license within 30 days of hire (clean driving record required for company vehicles)
Physical Demands:
• Lift and carry up to 60 lbs
• Extensive pushing and pulling
• Work in extreme temperatures (hot and cold)
Language: Must speak English
• Strict adherence to biosecurity, food safety, health & safety rules, attendance, and company policies required
• Positive attitude, reliability, ability to follow instructions, and strong work ethic expected
• Repeated absences, misconduct, insubordination, or safety violations will result in termination
Physically demanding role with high standards for responsibility and compliance.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
