Hours: 48 hours/week, Mon. - Sat. 8 hours/day, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies. Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain. Maintain heated watering system. Maintain equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, and fences. Move equipment or livestock from one location to another on the farm. Clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses, or pumps. Mix feed, additives, and medicines in prescribed portions. Order food for animals and arrange for its delivery. Maintain growth, feeding, production, and cost records. Operate snow removal equipment in order to operate feed wagons. Drive to town for cattle supplies on occasion. Remove ice formed in water.
Work requires exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, walking, frequent stooping, and repetitive movements.
### Minimum Education Required
None.
No High School Diploma or GED is required.
### Minimum Experience Required
Minimum of 3 months of experience is required.
Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds.
Must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job.
Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
Must be able to speak English.
Must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Certain roles may require a valid driver's license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.

Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
As required for all workers in Minnesota, hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the regular rate of pay.

### Job Benefits
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Required work-related tools and supplies provided free of charge by employer.
Effective Jan 1, 2024, per MN State Statute, an employee will earn one hour of paid sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked, up to at least 48 hours of accrued Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) per year, provided the employee works a minimum of 80 hours in a calendar year.
