About this position:
This highly responsible advanced level position assists the Chief Administrative Officer in driving efficiency, strategic planning, and operational improvements across the organization's business functions. This position has a direct impact on the smooth functioning of the Board by conducting research, providing analytical insights, and developing systems and processes that optimize day-to-day operations. Management analysts play a key role in ensuring that policies, safety protocols, and compliance measures are met and continually enhanced.
This position must exercise sound judgment, creativity, and resourcefulness in all areas of responsibility and must be proficient in the use of computers. Position requires the ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures and to communicate the same verbally and in writing in a professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience in administrative services, health services, social services, or engineering; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus one year of experience in administrative services, health services, social services, or engineering; OR
A bachelor's degree plus one year of experience in administrative services, health services, social services, or engineering; OR
An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Operational Analysis, Policy Development, and Executive Support
Works with the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to conduct in-depth analysis of LSBN administrative operations to identify inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Research regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and internal data to support informed decision-making. Draft, revise, and maintain policies, procedures, manuals, and safety plans to ensure compliance and alignment with agency goals. Prepare analytical reports, dashboards, summaries, and recommendations for the Chief Administrative Officer. Support the development and monitoring of performance metrics, operational plans, and organizational initiatives. Coordinate cross-departmental activities that enhance business operations and support executive priorities.
Auditing and Compliance Review
Perform and support internal audits of business processes, documentation, and operational workflows. Identify compliance gaps and risks; document findings and recommend corrective measures. Monitor follow-up actions to ensure sustainable improvements and adherence to standards.
Special Projects, Problem-Solving, and Collaboration
Lead or contribute to special projects assigned by the CAO, particularly those requiring analysis, process redesign, or policy development. Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot operational challenges and implement solutions. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening administrative functions and service delivery. Other duties as assigned
