• CDL- Feed Driver (Nights)

    Prestage Farms is seeking a reliable and safety-minded Commercial Driver to join our team! This position is responsible for safely transporting feed to and from the feed mill during night-shift operations. If you’re a responsible driver with a strong work ethic and a Class A CDL, we want to hear from you!This is a local, full-time position averaging 55-60 hours per week.

    Responsibilities

    + Safely transport feed to and from the feed mill

    + Perform accurate daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections

    + Maintain cleanliness of tractor and trailer inside and out

    + Load and unload trucks at assigned destinations

    + Ensure compartments are clean and tarps are properly secured before loading

    + Collect required ingredient samples

    + Accurately complete all delivery forms and return documentation

    + Follow all company safety rules, policies, and DOT regulations

    + Adapt to unexpected situations such as traffic delays, weather, or route changes

    + Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs. occasionally

    Requirements

    + Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A)

    + At least one year of verifiable commercial driving experience

    + Must be21 years of age or older

    + Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

    + Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly

    + Extensive knowledge of applicable truck-driving rules and DOT regulations

    + No recent moving violations or safety-related driving violations

    + Ability to work weekends as needed

    + Willingness to submit to a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen

    + Ability to provide employment references

    + Adaptability, reliability, and strong problem-solving skills

     

    ADA REQUIREMENTS: Ability to walk, stoop, bend, climb, repetitive motions, see and distinguish colors, and hear
