Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Boston’s South End. This is a full-time opportunity at a residential property with 149 units of affordable family housing. You will join a team of maintenance professionals whose responsibilities include:
+ Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and preparing apartments for new resident occupancy.
+ Completing work orders, light electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, and general building maintenance.
+ Providing access to and supervising contractors as needed.
+ Performing groundskeeping and maintenance of exterior and common areas.
The work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm with on-call duties shared on rotation.
Your Qualifications:
We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.
+ Knowledge of general apartment repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is required.
+ Experience with REAC/NSPIRE inspections is preferred.
+ Experience with Yardi or other work order systems would also be a plus.
+ A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.

Pay Range: $25-29/hour depending on previous experience.
