    We are seeking a Senior Business Data Analyst as part of our growing Risk Analytics and Insight team within Intuit’s Global Solutions Business Group (GSBG). Be at the cutting edge of the Fintech industry - the GSBG division moves tens of billions of dollars in money for Intuit’s customers.

     

    The successful analyst will work across functions (Fraud & Risk Operations, Data Science, Compliance, Marketing, Product, Finance, etc.) and use data to drive insights which help achieve Intuit Global Solutions Business Group’s short and long-term business outcomes.

     

    We’re looking for a candidate who will continue to build a strong analytics culture as part of our growing team. This role reports to the Senior Risk Analytics Manager of GBSG Insights and Experimentation as part of the broader GBSG Risk Policy & Analytics team.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop compelling visualizations that crystallize business opportunities for stakeholders and leaders to make timely decisions.

    + Design and run data driven tests and experiments that identify business opportunities and compare performance against company goals.

    + Develop compelling, intuitive dashboards and visualizations to monitor performance and inform timely decisions.

    + Communicate insights clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive leadership.

    + Collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to ensure analytical solutions are scalable, repeatable, effective, and meet expectations of various stakeholders

    + Analyze big data to mine massive scale transactional data to improve the fraud and credit risk mitigation strategies and design new risk-adjusted policy proposals.

    + Investigate root causes of anomalous risk behaviors or performance gaps, and recommend timely corrective actions.

    + Identify and address gaps in data quality, availability, or structure that limit measurement, experimentation, or insight generation.

    + Build and maintain clean, reliable data pipelines to support monitoring and experimentation at scale.

    Qualifications

    + Strong analytical ability and proven business acumen with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Experience in Financial Services or Fintech preferred.

    + Advanced SQL and coding skills to perform data segmentation and aggregation from scratch.

    + Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Quicksight, Tableau, Qlik) and experience building dashboards for monitoring and decision support.

    + Knowledge of statistical analysis including A/B and multivariate testing.

    + Proven track record of influencing cross-functional team decisions through data-driven recommendations.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives.

    + High degree of ownership, accountability, and empathy in cross-functional team settings.

    + Experience working with Key Performance Indicator (KPI or OKR) metrics.

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Science, Math or other Quantitative Field, or commensurate experience.

     

    Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach. Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

    New York: $140,500 - 190,000
