    PAID MEAL PERIOD PLUS $2.00/ HOUR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL

    MUST POSSESS PROVEN MECHANICAL SKILLS TO APPLY

    Essential Functions:

    + Draw, splice, and/or tie in warp ends into loom.

    + Transportation, installation, and removal of warps to/from racks.

    + Assists with transportation, installation and removal of webbing and carts to rolling / shipping area.

    + Ability to accurately draw in webbing by written documentation from beginning to end without the need of assistance, including correct warp selection and placement in loom rack.

    + Complete understanding of how to interpret draw sheets and the ability to draw in with the foresight of future production changes.

    + Ability to accurately perform first piece inspection (green tagging).

    + Ability to proficiently assist in the hourly inspections.

    + Assist with replacing and magazining filling on each loom.

    + Accurately enter job specific information into Sturges integrated computer system.

    + Follow all safety rules and maintains a neat and clean work area.

    + All Team Members of Sturges shall know and understand all safety, human resource, and quality policies, including the procedures, work instructions applicable to their position, and how their goals relate to the success of the company.

    Education & Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma/GED preferred.

    + 2 – 3 years proven mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to interpret draw sheets.

    + Knowledge of use of all applicable measuring devices.

    + Basic math skills.

    + Strong team player.

    + Attention to detail.

    + This position is deemed a safety sensitive position always requiring alertness.

    + Able to read, write and fluently communicate in English.
