    SUMMARY OF THE JOB:

    As the Manager, Professional Education you will:

    Provide strategic direction and oversight of Electrophysiology Professional Education activities. Under the direction of the Senior Manager, U.S. Professional Education, will work in close collaboration with business partners, primarily Global Education and US Commercial Marketing Teams, to ensure oversight of all U.S. professional education programs as well as development of educational resources for health care professionals, helping to enable Electrophysiology to be recognized as best in industry for clinical performance and knowledge dissemination.

    Responsibilities:

    Under (e.g. limited supervision, general direction, etc.) and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position will:

     

    + Provide oversight of the strategy, design, development, and delivery of US physician education programs in multiple locations and settings, incorporating stakeholder input and support (including Health Care Compliance, Medical Science, Therapy Advancement, and Commercial Marketing).

    + Play a key role in assigned JJMT EP Field Area to ensure field sales org is prepared to drive key initiatives in ensuring benchmarks are met.

    + Manage budget, costs, and materials, including oversight of administrative support for event planning and post training closure.

    + Develop and equip designated education leads and BWI personnel with educational program information (including registration and enrollment processes) and tools for effective engagement with health care professionals.

    + Manage processes to identify US education gaps, develop learning continuums, assess effectiveness and outcomes of programs via direct and indirect feedback. Seek opportunities for strategy and process improvements.

    + Oversee submission and preservation of all content for copy approval and compliance.

    + Collaborating Electrophysiology U.S. Professional Education teammates to support all Professional Education Programs.

    + Communicate business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

    + Know and follow policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility.

    + Complete training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period.

    + Follow Health Care Compliance guidelines.

    + Follow all company safety policies and other safety precautions within work area.

    + Complete required periodic re-training in areas such as safety and environmental compliance.

    + Perform other duties assigned, as needed.

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree required.

    + 5 years professional (related) experience.

    + Excellence in business communication (verbal, written, presentation, interpersonal) and executive presence.

    + Track record of success in Sales.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Advanced degree is preferred.

    + Management experience

    + Excellence in data management and project management skills.

    + Prior experience with health care professional education engagement.

    + Prior experience creating education resources.

    + Advanced proficiency in Electrophysiology software and products.

    + Proven record managing close customer relationships and engagement.

    + Experience presenting to senior leadership.

    + Experience presenting to physicians and academic centers.

    + Digital literacy in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

    Physical working conditions / requirements:

    • A minimum of 50% of travel includes weekends; may include international.

    • Must be able to stand for long periods and perform occasional light-moderate weight bearing activities.

     

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis. ·

    + Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year

    + Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year

    + Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year of Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
