Purpose: This role provides administrative and subject‐matter expert support to the HealthCare Solutions (HCS) Directors for the Heart Recovery business. The Coordinator acts as a key operational interface, ensuring smooth execution of team processes, supporting onboarding, fleet/mobility, onboarding, vendor management, and cross-functional communication.
Key Responsibilities
+ Serve as liaison among Professional Education, Physician Programs, internal stakeholders (e.g., commercial effectiveness, operations, HR, mobility).
+ Oversee onboarding processes for new team members; ensure compliance with company requirements.
+ Manage mobility/fleet logistics (vehicle assignments, travel arrangements, remote work infrastructure) for field staff.
+ Support vendor management (selecting, onboarding, coordinating vendors aligned with operations).
+ Provide subject-matter expertise for administrative processes, ensuring efficiency and alignment with commercial strategy. Ensure PO submission and processing is accurate and timely with payments to vendors using all approved platforms including APEX, eMarketplace, Totality and others.
+ Prepare reports, track metrics, maintain data relevant to operations, credentialing, mobility, vendor performance. Assist with data presentations on relevant topics aligned to key business objectives.
+ Communicate updates, changes, and requirements to relevant stakeholders across the business.
+ Support internal event coordination, meetings, training scheduling for the HCS team and manage calendars for business units including coordination for 3rd party events for My Health Can’t Wait and other regional tradeshows.
Qualifications & Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in business, operations, project management or relevant discipline.
+ Demonstrated experience (often senior level) in field operations coordination, administrative operations within a medical device/health-technology environment.
+ Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
+ Proficiency in all MS Office functions, skill in SmartSheets preferred
+ Experience managing cross-functional relationships (commercial, clinical, field operations).
+ Comfortable with field-facing logistics (travel, mobility, credentialing, vendor oversight).
+ Data-savvy—able to generate, interpret and act on operational metrics.
+ Remote work readiness: self-motivated, disciplined, able to interface across geographies/time zones.
+ Preferred: Experience in the medical device / cardiovascular / electrophysiology space in a field role or with device support. (Since Abiomed/Heart Recovery business focuses on advanced cardiac support devices.)
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

+ Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
+ Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
+ Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
+ Condolence Leave – 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member
+ Caregiver Leave – 10 days
+ Volunteer Leave – 4 days
+ Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours
