Job Summary:
As the Pharmacy Specialist Technician, you assist in preparing, distributing medications, maintaining drug inventory and reporting. You will perform support functions necessary for daily function for any ProMedica Pharmacy site.
You accept new written, faxed, or electronic prescription orders and accept new verbal orders, including refill authorizations, for non-controlled drugs from a prescriber or a prescriber’s agent.
In this role you will also:
+ Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
+ Clean, organize, and validate datasets for accuracy and completeness.
+ Automate recurring reports using advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, Power Query, macros).
+ Create visualizations, charts, and summaries to support leadership and cross-functional teams.
+ Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports as requested.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to understand reporting needs and refine data workflows.
+ Document reporting processes and maintain version control of all reporting tools.

REQUIREMENTS
+ High school diploma or equivalent
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Active Ohio Board of Pharmacy Certified Technician License OR Ohio Board of Pharmacy Intern License and P4 status in schooling if working in Ohio.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
+ Knowledge of medical terminology
+ Certified Pharmacy Technician required (either PTCB or ExCPT (NHA) exam permitted), preferred
+ 5 years of experience preferred
