**Postion Summary:** The Senior Revenue Cycle Associate will review and manage all aspects of the billing and accounts receivable cycle, including charge entry, claim submission, and follow-up on outstanding balances.
Essential Functions:
1. Prepare and submit timely, and accurate claims to private and public insurance payers, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.
2. Verify the accuracy and appropriateness of billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS) prior to claim submission.
3. Analyze denied or underpaid claims, identify root causes, and coordinate resolution with payers and internal departments.
4. Serve as an escalation point for complex claim or payment issues requiring advanced knowledge of payer rules, coding and reimbursement guidelines.
5. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, payer contracts, and organizational policies.
6. Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure documentation accuracy and maintain revenue integrity.
7. Support internal and external audits by providing billing documentation and explanations as requested.
8. Maintain confidentiality of all patients and company information in accordance with HIPPA regulations.
9. Perform other related administrative and billing duties as needed.

Qualifications
+ High School diploma/GED required, Bachelor preferred or minimum five (5) yrs. experience required.
+ Proven experience in medical and clinic-based billing, with strong understanding of billing codes, regulations, and reimbursement process.
+ Strong understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding principles.
+ Knowledge of, HMO/PPO, Medicare, Medicaid, and other payer requirements and systems.
